The Challenge
Reliable and automated bulk reading of transponders (detection rate >99,9%).
The transponders which are integrated into the dispenser are very small and lie close by each other.
The position of each laboratory sample has to be clearly detected and shall be
individually selectable.
After use the transponder shall be detachable from the dispenser as all transponders shall be reused.
Solution Approach
Bulk reading is guaranteed due to the development of special HF- transponders
which are adapted to the dimension of the dispenser.
Due to the high density of the transponders it was necessary to develop special
antennas.
